When it comes to survival, preparedness is first and foremost. This is one of those weird scenarios in life. What I mean by that is, If you prepare a survival kit, you are going to be spending money (and going cheap on this is risking not only your life, but the lives of your family). This is one of those investments that you will purchase kind of like insurance. You really hope to never have to use it, but when you need it, you get what you pay for, and in a scenario where it’s needed, you will regret not investing.
I will be putting out future posts on this topic for sure, but I wanted to go in to detail how to prepare a survival kit and what you should consider when building and preparing this kit.
I call mine my GTFO bag (Get the F*ck out)(pronounced “Git Fo”) or my WTF bag (you know what this stands for). Either way, having this bag prepared and in a location that everyone in your household is aware of is a must, especially in these uncertain times. Not only is it important to have your GTFO bag ready at your house, but it’s also important have additional GTFO bags in your vehicle and one prepared for vacations, because these scenarios happen when you least expect it and when it happens, it’s too late and not having these supplies will make survival alot harder and possibly, nearly impossible.
I will have updates for this post in future posts, but for now check back and get prepared!
